I'd like to introduce you to a wonderful and exciting group that I joined
in February 2004.... the Garden of Friendship.
When I stumbled upon their website, I was first impressed with the design and
structure of the organization especially considering how immense it is. I
understand there are over 200 members and still growing. The range and diversity of the committees and activities is awesome. There really is something for everyone whether it's cooking, quilting, graphics, tutorials, tubes, poetry, games, contests and that just skims the surface. There is so much to see and explore that it will take days just to see it all. When I made the decision to join, I was greeted with the most sincere welcome that I've ever had. Take a peek and see what I mean....

The
Guestbook Committee was the
first committee that I joined when I became a member of the Garden of
Friendship in February 2004. In August 2004, I was offered the
position of ACL (assistant committee leader) and in January 2005 I was
promoted to CL (committee leader). |
I joined the
Adoption Committee in July 2005 |
